Class - Quilt in a Day - Log Cabin Pattern (2 Sessions) Emmitsburg, MD - July 13 & 27

July 13 & 27, 10am-4pm

In this class, you will create a traditional Log Cabin quilt using the Quilt in a Day method. This time-saving approach focuses on strip piecing, allowing for faster construction while maintaining accuracy.

You will learn how to select fabrics, cut accurately, piece strips efficiently, and assemble blocks with confidence. We will also explore traditional Log Cabin layouts and design options.

By the end of class, you will have completed several blocks and gained the skills needed to finish your quilt at home.

Customer Project Requirements

Please bring the following supplies to class:

• Quilt in a Day Log Cabin Pattern – $12.50
• Homework: Cut your fabric in advance
• Fabric (based on quilt size you are making)
• Thread – neutral color
• Bobbin – white
• Basic sewing supplies (scissors, marking pens, seam ripper, ruler)
• Rotary cutter with a sharp blade
• Pins or clips
• Cutting mat (optional)
• Universal sewing machine needles
• Sewing machine
