Class Designer Duffle Bag – Emmitsburg
August 2 & 3, 10 am – 5 pm
Vera Bradley has nothing on these designer bags! Pattern for 3 bags is included, but you will construct just one bag in class. You and everyone you know will love these bags. Words cannot describe how amazing these bags are. Come in and see the samples. Pick your size, sign up, get your class discount, and get sewing.
Patterns included. Student will receive pattern for 3 sizes - choose 1 size for class (small or medium only). Panels must be pre-quilted before class where you will construct the bag. Come into store to get supply list for class, or click HERE.
HOMEWORK:
Please have your fabric quilted before class. Either quilt your own or buy pre-quilted fabric (be sure it is the one with fabric on both sides!). Please note that the pre-quilted fabric uses batting, not Soft & Stable, and therefore will not have as much body or stability. This is fine. It all depends on the look you want! (get full Supply list from store for instructions)
It is also a good idea to serge or zig-zag the edges of the individual pattern pieces so the quilting does not come undone!

from 25 reviewsI have been sewing since I brought my viking epuc 2 home. It runs like a brand new machine and I love it. Thank you so much for your attention to my needs and your professional friendly help.
Great class! Teacher was very helpful!
I love it! Thank you for all your help with it!
Dad did a great job teaching that class, I’m looking forward to her, teaching the valentine heart class
Everything you wanted to know about Grace quilting machines were wrapped in a ribbon of opportunity to test drive them all.
Loved the class and the instructor.
It was a great class. I’m always worried about learning from a new teacher and she was excellent. She made sure we understood everything. She helped us. She was so pleasant and I got to meet a bunch of new people and overall it was just an incredible day, and we all walked out with awesome bags I. I would definitely go to one of her classes again would definitely go to one of her classes again
Very informative and a lot of fun.
The Featherweight Club was a wonderful day. We learned about an attachment and all members had an opportunity to practice the attachment. The classroom is beautiful and everyone at Sew ‘N Place is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Nice mix of information between sewing and embroidery. Also a nice mix between Husqvarna and pfaff. Well done!
I enjoyed the class very much. Like to had a little more hands on time with the machines.
Excellent customer service from everyone. My machine hadn’t been serviced in over 10 plus years. It is seeing beautiful now. I highly recommended Sew n place for service.
I enjoyed the class. The instructor did a great job under difficult circumstances. Having 10 people and only three of the yarn feet for sewing machines was a bit of a challenge. But I thought she did a good job. I’m anxious to get the construction instructions and get mine finish so I can use it. Thanks.
