You will learn the technique by making either in class but please be aware that the rug will not be completed in class. Please know how to use your machine and have a zigzag stitch option. This class is for confident beginner sewers who know their machine. A walking foot on your machine is preferred as it helps with the thickness of the material.  \u003cstrong\u003eBring your own sewing machine and make sure you have 2 bobbins already wound.  A kit with the essentials needed for this class (jelly roll, jelly roll batting, pattern, Aurifil, jeans needles and best press) is included in the price.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eYou will also need to bring your sewing machine with extra bobbins, a walking foot, small scissors, a seam ripper.  Optional items are Wonder Clips and an iron and pressing mat.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMinimum of 3 is needed in order to hold this class.  If interested, please don't wait to sign up.  Class will be cancelled without the minimum number of students.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eContact the instructor, Karen Standifer, with any questions regarding the class.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR CLASSES\u003cbr\u003eSpace is limited in all of our classes.
